Fife villagers have told of their shock after a local mum was found murdered in her home. Police are probing the theory that Stacy Mair, 35, was killed by her husband Jim Mair at their Renfrewshire cottage on Monday. Stacy married Mr Mair, from Glasgow, in 2019, but it has been reported that the couple split earlier this year. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The death of 35-year-old Stacy Mair in Houston is being treated as murder. “Following a post-mortem examination today, the death of 35-year-old Stacy Mair is being treated as murder.
