A man has been charged after a major emergency response shut down an Angus village. The road into the village, Drumsturdy Road, was closed from the Kellas Road junction and at the Ethiebeaton/Forbes junction. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Drumsturdy Road in Kingennie, Dundee has re-opened. She said: “Drumsturdy Road is completely closed just past the turn-off for Monifieth and the road to Forbes of Kingennie. The incident left locals in the Angus village unable to access their homes as more than a dozen emergency vehicles descended on the main road.
