The location of a new UK Government-funded restaurant set to open in Dundee has been revealed.
Plans for a public diner pilot were announced in July 2025, with Westminster pledging £8.5 million in funding for six new projects to tackle food inequality.
The Dundee restaurant will be run by charity Nourish Scotland, who earlier this year launched a search for a hospitality partner to help it provide catering at the venture.
Dundee city centre location revealedIt has now been revealed that the public diner will be located at the former Giza restaurant on Dundee High Street.
An opening date for the government-funded restaurant is yet to be confirmed but Nourish Scotland say it will welcome customers in late autumn.
