“(We wanted to see) if this was even an opportunity, and we agreed pretty fast that it was. “It’s exciting to bring in someone that has local knowledge — definitely has more local knowledge than myself,” Anderson said. “We’ll draw on those things; having that knowledge of not just LC golf, but also LC State and the valley. Anderson said that Brown will assist in “all aspects of the program,” with a particular focus on “player development and recruiting locally.” With Brown, Anderson felt there could be no mistake.
