Google may soon bring a quality-of-life improvement to Android’s Advanced Protection Mode. Google may fix the annoying part of Advanced Protection ModeAdvanced Protection Mode lets you enable stronger device security against online attacks, harmful apps, and data risks. As of now, to sideload an app, you need to disable Advanced Protection Mode first. Folks over at Android Authority discovered (through a teardown of Google Play Services version 26.30.31) that the company is testing a temporary pause option for Advanced Protection Mode. This means you can temporarily turn off Advanced Protection Mode, eliminating the need to manually re-enable it.
