Families looking for a fun and educational way to wrap up the summer can head to Milan this weekend for the annual Quad City Fire Wire Touch A Truck event. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore dozens of emergency and specialty vehicles while meeting the first responders who operate them. Event AttractionsOne of the biggest attractions will be two medical helicopters landing throughout the day. In addition to the special activities, guests can climb aboard and explore a wide variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police vehicles, ambulances, school buses, construction equipment, helicopters, and more.
