Syracuse, IN - Marsha Elaine Neer, 74, passed away peacefully on July 27. After graduating from Concord High School in 1970, Marsha worked in the newborn nursery caring for infants and their families. Of all the roles Marsha embraced throughout her life, none brought her greater joy or greater purpose than being a mother. Marsha is survived by her son, Jody Michael Neer (Megan); her grandchildren, Carson Neer (Jordan), Ethan Neer (Kayla), Graham Neer, and Hayden Neer; her sister, Linda Vucich (Nick); her brothers, Thomas Wainwright (Vicky) and Roger Neer (Marilyn); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Marsha's life was defined not by titles or possessions, but by the love she freely gave, the friendships she faithfully nurtured, and the quiet ways she cared for others every day.
