Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.42 per share. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.28 per share. Federal Signal expects full-year earnings in the range of $5.12 to $5.30 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.58 billion to $2.67 billion.
