A highly traveled section of Route 9 in Dutchess County has been closed today (July 29th) due to flooding, with no reopening timeline announced.

Officials warned that the Hudson Valley's highest risk for dangerous flash flooding would take place between Tuesday and Wednesday, and after Tuesday nights storms, a number of areas across Hudson Valley have reported flooded roadways.
