According to the Parliamentary Adhoc Committee Programme, on Friday, 31st July, 2026 from 2:00 p.m former Director General for the National Intelligence Service (NIS) Mr. Dokani Ngwira will give his testimony and after him, Lieutenant General John Msonthi junior RTD to hit the last nail on to a coffin that Moses Nthakomwa was sent by him to speak the truth before the committee.Parliamentary Committee Begins Hearings into Chikangawa Plane Crash InvestigationLieutenant General John Msonthi junior RTD served as former Deputy Army Commander ( Operations) will give his testimony relating to information management, operational communication and command awareness concluding the outstanding business from Phase 1 of Witness Hearings for the Inquiry. The Parliamentary committee said in preparation for Phase 2, it will meet again on 10th and 11th August, 2026 to review the work done in Phase 1 and also plan for Phase 2 Witness Hearings. Chairperson of the committee Walter Nyamilandu Manda said the committee has plans to conduct Phase 2 Witness Hearings sessions of the inquiry from 17th to 26th August, 2026 focusing on the event that occured on the actual day of the flight that resulted to the plane crash on Monday, 10th June, 2024.
