A Chicora woman is facing charges for allegedly stealing over $20,000 in funds from the Butler Girls Softball Booster Club. According to charging documents, Karenbauer served as treasurer for the booster club starting around April 2024. Once treasurer, Karenbauer had bank statements mailed to her home.
