Missouri Cannabis Regulators Propose Allowing Curbside Pickup at Dispensaries
['Anthony Martinelli']
The Marijuana Herald
Missouri marijuana regulators have filed a proposed rule amendment that would allow dispensaries to offer curbside pickup to medical marijuana patients and recreational consumers.
The Division of Cannabis Regulation, part of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), submitted the proposed amendment to the Missouri secretary of state and the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules.
The proposal would amend 19 CSR 100-1.180 to establish curbside pickup and create requirements governing how dispensaries conduct curbside transactions.
The department did not provide an estimated date for when curbside pickup could become available at Missouri dispensaries.
Missouri voters approved medical marijuana legalization in 2018 and recreational marijuana legalization in 2022.
