The Buff Pantry is an on-campus food pantry open to all undergraduate and graduate CU Boulder students, aimed at helping combat food insecurity in the CU community. Wilks said, “The Buff Pantry is an on-campus food pantry open to all students, undergraduate and graduate, that allows students to help get food access needs met more effectively if they’re experiencing any level of food insecurity.” Through the university’s Basic Needs Center website, students can access a variety of food resources the Basic Needs Center offers. The majority of the Buff Pantry’s food is sourced through Community Food Share, Boulder County’s primary food bank. The Basic Needs Center’s next mobile food pantry event will be August 20th, the first day of classes for CU’s upcoming fall semester.
