play_arrow Lion’s mane mushrooms: Naturally KGNU NewsOn this week’s Naturally, KGNU’s resident herbalist, Brigitte Mars, discusses lion’s mane mushrooms.
Brigitte said, “ Some of the research on lion’s mane shows that it appears to decrease the amyloid plaque buildup in the brain that can contribute to cognitive decline.
So if you’re one of these people noticing that your memory just isn’t what it used to be, lion’s mane, which you can buy in natural food grocery shops as well as herb stores, can be eaten, but it could also be taken as a capsule or a tincture or a tea.”
Naturally airs every Wednesday on the Morning Magazine, KGNU’s weekday morning show, featuring local and regional news, headlines, and commentary.
