Maeve asked them both to name what they see as the biggest issues facing Boulder right now. Mayor Brockett said, “ I have to say that the cost of housing and then the parallel problem of homelessness, unsheltered homelessness, rise to the very top. City Councilmember Taishya Adams shares a similar sentiment about the cost of living in Boulder but raises the issue of climate change in Colorado.“ Even though those aren’t things that we’re doing here, we are affected by them disproportionately.”
