The Mountain Towns 2030 climate conference is back in Breckenridge this fall, Oct. 7-8. Leaders from mountain towns worldwide talk about challenges to the ski industry, inspired by global discussions about climate change and environmental policy. The Breckenridge conference is one of eight in five Western states, including Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and California. Town of Breck is hoping to change visitor habits through its “B Like Breckenridge” campaign, promoting e-bikes and public transit with a free ap. The Mountain Towns 2030 conference is open to the public.
