A family helping their grandmother locate her scattered Pokemon collection uncovered a massive stash of sealed vintage cards, with collectors estimating the find could be worth more than $250,000.

A second search led one of the brothers to several boxes hidden beneath a TV cabinet containing sealed booster packs, Charizard cards and a large binder with Base Set, Jungle, Fossil and other vintage Pokemon cards.
Among the many, many items discovered were three sealed booster boxes of First Edition Fossil, which typically sell for anywhere between $15,000 and $30,000.
Back in April, a vendor was shown a binder owned by a child containing cards worth thousands.
