£70k council grant for chef’s Union Street restaurant confirmed – with bosses keen to dish out more for ‘unique ideas’

The P&J previously revealed that chef Kevin Dalgleish would be first in line for one of the new £70,000 Union Street empty shop grants.
The owner of fine-dining Amuse in the west end previously told The P&J that the Union Street premises was a “hidden gem”.
He hailed its views over Union Terrace Gardens and the revamped central stretch of Union Street, which is due for completion later this year and tipped to create 23 jobs.

“These additional grants are primarily for Union Street,” Mr McLellan added.
