Musically, Bob Hope is best known for "Thanks For The Memory," which he first introduced to the big screen in 1938 as a duet with Shirley Ross in the movie, "The Big Broadcast Of 1938." "Thanks For The Memory" soon after became Hope's longtime theme song, often performed with altered lyrics that depended on the situation. He also had several top hits on the Pop charts that include his cover of the Hoagy Carmichael/Frank Loesser-penned "Two Sleepy People" (1939, with Shirley Ross) and "The Road To Morocco" (1945, with Bing Crosby), the title theme to the 1942 movie co-starring Hope and Crosby.
