Fincantieri has reported net income of 102 million euros on revenues of 4.6 billion euros for the first half of 2026. The total orderbook counts 92 ships, including 35 cruise ships with deliveries through 2039. By the end of 2026, Fincantieri will deliver the first cruise ship powered by hydrogen stored aboard and used for both power generation and propulsion. The Viking ship plays a key part in the shipbuilder’s strategy focused on energy transition for next-generation vessels characterized by greater efficiency and advanced technologies. Four cruise ships were delivered during the six-month period, the Norwegian Luna, Four Seasons I, Viking Mira and Mein Schiff Flow.
