Miami-Dade County recently approved a preferential berthing agreement with Margaritaville at Sea, according to county documents. The contract is expected to enter into effect upon the first call of Margaritaville at Sea at the port, which is scheduled for Jan. 9, 2027. The company may also receive either an operational incentive for a non-peak day or for evening vessel calls if applicable. Margaritaville at Sea will deploy its largest ship, the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, in PortMiami starting in early 2027. Acquired by Margaritaville at Sea in 2025, the Beachcomber is currently sailing for Costa Cruises as the Costa Fortuna.
