Adora Cruises will host special themed sailings focusing on Peking/Beijing Opera during the Mid-Autumn Festival and China’s National Day aboard the Adora Mediterranea this year. The themed voyages will feature a series of immersive Beijing Opera performances and cultural experiences in collaboration with the National Beijing Opera Company, Adora said in a press release. Guests will enjoy performances of classic shows, paired with lectures exploring the art and history of Beijing Opera, allowing them to gain deeper insights into this form of Chinese performing art. The Adora Mediterranea will also offer interactive cultural activities, including Beijing Opera facial mask painting, traditional paper-cutting inspired by opera motifs, heritage craft workshops, trivia contests and themed games. The ship will also host Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day activities, including mooncake-making workshops, a Mid-Autumn garden fair, themed game shows, festive singing competitions, a National Day flag-raising ceremony and special holiday gala dinners.
