At an age when most children are still exploring hobbies, Kerala schoolboy Levin Paulose is already solving everyday challenges through practical DIY innovations. Driven by curiosity rather than formal engineering training, Levin has designed and built a range of low-cost inventions using cardboard, DC motors, batteries, wires and other readily available materials. His creations include a life-sized humanoid cardboard robot, a remote-controlled curtain opener, and several other functional DIY projects inspired by everyday needs. One of his most recognisable creations is a life-sized humanoid robot made primarily from cardboard and assembled using motors, wiring and electronic components. Alongside the robot, Levin also developed a remote-controlled curtain opener, designed to make opening and closing curtains easier using affordable components.
