By Femi BolajiOperatives of the Taraba State Police Command have arrested two suspects following a violent altercation that led to the death of a commercial tricycle union pass distributor at Angwan Kassa junction, a suburb of Jalingo, the state capital. Vanguard gathered that the violent clash erupted when the deceased intercepted a commercial tricycle (Keke NAPEP) operator for operating without a mandatory daily union ticket. The victim’s insistence that the operator purchase the pass escalated into a heated argument, during which the pass distributor was stabbed. Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state command, ASP Victor Mshelizah, said two suspects were immediately apprehended in connection with the crime. Meanwhile, commercial tricycle operators shuttling the route from the Area Command Junction through the Angwan Kassa axis to the Deeper Life Camp junction have abandoned their parks.
