But I want to start with what’s good about the system, because sometimes when we talk about social care, we don’t do that enough, do we? And let’s not have a conversation about social care as though it lives in its own silo. If it’s not person-centred, like the brilliant care provided here at Jewish Care, then it won’t be what people would recognise as social care. The second announcement is to immediately, and not wait for the review, focus on the social care workforce. And then ultimately you would hope a new social consensus can emerge about social care.
