As they moved to confront him, a female officer was stabbed in the neck and the 27-year-old suspect was shot in the leg by the police. "During the confrontation a police officer was stabbed in the neck," he said. "He has allegedly stabbed a police officer, so he will be facing some very serious charges," he said.
