Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio previously shut down the idea of the villain crossing over with Spider-Man because of complicated rights issues. However, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige’s latest comments suggest that such a crossover may now be possible. In an interview with Josh Horowitz while promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Feige downplayed concerns about character rights preventing Marvel Studios from using them. Feige’s comments about discussing the possibility of crossing over characters between Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios should give fans hope. Fans nearly saw Spider-Man cross paths with both characters around the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
