TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Step back in time and discover the people and stories that shaped Tahoe City during the Tahoe City Heritage Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 1. The free community event brings together the Gatekeeper’s Museum, Watson Cabin, SNOW Museum, Tahoe City Downtown Association, and the Placer County Heritage Trail to celebrate Tahoe City and its history. Members of Dr. Church’s family, along with representatives from TCPUD and TCDA, will also participate in the ceremony. Additional free walking tours will be offered on Tahoe City Day on Aug. 8 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The Tahoe City Heritage Celebration is presented in partnership with the Gatekeeper’s Museum, Watson Cabin Museum, SNOW Museum, Tahoe City Downtown Association, and the Placer County Heritage Trail.
