POLICE have issued a call for information following a serious assault of a man in Glasgow. Between 12.20am and 12.45am on Tuesday, 28 July, 2026, a 31-year-old man was cycling on Clyde Place, Glasgow, when he was approached by a man on a bicycle. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he received treatment for stab wounds before being discharged. He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and had a black backpack.
