A judge has rejected an appeal made by Baroda Township Clerk Christina Price of the recall campaign against her, allowing the collection of signatures to proceed in the effort. The Berrien County Election Commission this month approved recall petition language targeting Price, giving her ten days to appeal. Writing on social media this week, Price said she’s disappointed the court has ruled against her appeal, but she respects its decision. The recall petition from Baroda resident Lisa Radde seeks to remove Price from office for her role in a petition drive seeking the disincorporation of the village of Baroda. The Berrien County clerk’s Office tells us now that Price’s appeal is resolved, Radde can resume seeking the 337 signatures needed to get the recall question on the November ballot.
