The Benton Harbor Area Schools Board of Education has held its first meeting since appointing Keith Sanders as the district’s interim superintendent, and already, Sanders is sharing good news with trustees. At Tuesday’s meeting, Sanders announced that the large clock on the front of Benton Harbor High School has been repaired. “It symbolizes to our entire community that it’s time to go to work and it’s time to put our kids first, and that’s what that clock represents to everybody in Benton Harbor,” Sanders said. “I’m just really happy that our clock is working because it says that we’re working.” Sanders thanked the team for helping to repair the clock that overlooks the circular driveway in front of the school.
