One suspect is facing charges after a report of shots fired in Benton Township on Tuesday. The Benton Township Police Department says it was contacted just before 11 p.m. with a report of shots fired in the area of 105 Fair Street. Upon arrival, officers found evidence that shots had been fired, but learned no one had been hit. Thanks to video surveillance from numerous locations, detectives were able to track the suspect to a nearby apartment, and the suspect was brought into custody on Wednesday around noon. The suspect was lodged at the Berrien County Jail, and their name has not yet been released.
