Khammam: Khammam District Youth Congress president Vejandla Sai Kumar called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and intensify efforts to highlight issues affecting youth and students during an extended district-level meeting held at the district Congress office on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering, Sai Kumar criticised the BJP-led Central government over its policies concerning youth and students. He called upon the government to address the genuine demands of youth and students while upholding democratic values and rights. He said the Youth Congress would continue its struggle for the welfare of young people and the protection of democratic principles. State secretary Jerripothula Anjani Kumar, district vice-presidents Khalil, Bala Gangadhar, Kotesh and Adarsh, district general secretaries, Assembly segment vice-presidents, mandal presidents and several Youth Congress leaders attended the meeting.
