Traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect from 6am on Thursday, until midnight, and from 6am to 9pm on Friday. A ministry spokeswoman said: “Motorists should expect parking restrictions, temporary road closures and traffic flow changes in the vicinity of the Somerset Cricket Club and surrounding roads. Arrangements include, no parking along portions of Somerset Road, Boaz Island Road, Cricket Lane, Hook 'N Ladder Lane, Long Bay Lane, Railway Trail, Scott's Hill Road and other listed roads. The public are also reminded of parking areas at Sandys Middle School, West End Primary School, Somerset Primary School and Warren Simmons Field.
