The Mercury Theatre has cancelled two performances of children's show Zog this afternoon due to illness within the cast. The 1.30pm and 3.30pm shows, scheduled for today (Wednesday, July 29), will no longer go ahead after producers took the decision to call off both performances. Theatre bosses have asked people not to call the box office while staff work through the affected bookings. Other performances of Zog at the venue are currently still scheduled to go ahead as planned. A spokesman for Mercury Theatre said: "Our Box Office team will work hard to complete your requests by email as quickly as possible, so we kindly ask that you do not call them at this time."
