CBRE has arranged a two-floor, 50,455-square-foot expansion for SM Energy at Wells Fargo Center, located at 1700 Lincoln in downtown Denver. The expansion follows the merger of SM Energy and Civitas earlier this year, with 1700 Lincoln selected as the preferred consolidation location. The combined company continues to trade under the ticker symbol “SM” and will retain the name SM Energy Company. “We’re seeing sustained demand for buildings like 1700 Lincoln in downtown Denver that provide tenants with a true value proposition,” said Berry, a senior vice president at CBRE. Located in the heart of downtown Denver, 1700 Lincoln is a 1.2-million-square-foot office building built in 1983 and one of Denver’s most prominent buildings.
