Host nation Scotland won eight medals in the space of five chaotic hours on Wednesday - two of them gold - to take their Commonwealth Games tally in Glasgow to 23. However, one of those golds might be lost after Para-athletics authorites decided to reun Melanie Woods' 1500m T54 final after an appeal. The 31-year-old - who set a Games record in streaking to victory - will have to chance to win it back at Scotstoun on Friday. Not long after Woods' apparent success at Scotstoun, Stephen MacKenzie earned bronze in the field. It takes Scotland's revised tally to 22 overall as the Games passes the halfway mark - eight gold and seven of both silver and bronze.
