The Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority Board has received a report on staffing at the Dial A Ride bus service since its management was taken over by Via Transportation. Speaking to the board Tuesday night, TCATA Director Tressa Greschak said when Via came on, it rehired most of Dial A Ride’s previous employees. Greschak was previously asked by trustees about the percentage of employees who are city of Benton Harbor residents. “Before via we actually had 38% of our staff were Benton Harbor city residents. She was talking strictly about employees who live within the Benton Harbor city limits.
