Goodness Nwachukwu has won the seventh gold medal for Team Nigeria at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Nigerian produced a world-record throw of 39.66m to win the women’s discus throw F42-44/F61-64 final in Glasgow, Scotland. Funmi Oduwaiye of Wales claimed silver with 38.52m, while her compatriot, Bree Cronin, secured bronze with 36.00m.
