Troops of the Armed Force of Nigeria (AFN) have rescued the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, his wife, two children, and 25 other kidnapped victims during a foiled abduction attempt in Zamfara State. The development was contained in an operational report made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday. It stated that the troops successfully rescued the 29 victims after engaging the kidnappers.
