Edmonton's August long weekend forecast is looking a little more promising

After weeks of heavy rain and thunderstorms, Edmonton’s Heritage Day long weekend forecast is looking to be a little more settled than what we’ve grown used to this summer.
Kowal explained that a system moving across northern Alberta would bring drier conditions for Thursday and Friday before another weather system arrived over the weekend.
Saturday is expected to be the warmest day of the long weekend at around 30°C.
Showers are currently in the forecast for Sunday before temperatures cool heading into Monday and Tuesday.
After all of the severe weather we’ve experienced this summer, Kowal says it’s still important to keep an eye on the forecast if you plan to spend time outdoors this weekend.
