A major Calgary park redevelopment has reached its next phase, with construction moving forward on several new amenities. Located in southwest Calgary, Richmond Green Park has been undergoing a multi-phase redevelopment, with phase two of the project now underway. Parking lot and playground upgrades are also currently underway, with the park’s existing playground set to be replaced with a new destination playground as part of the redevelopment. Phase three of construction is set to begin in 2027 and will see amenities added to the park to support cycling. According to the City of Calgary, construction on the park is anticipated to wrap up in the spring of 2028.
