The Football Association's Talent Identification Programme (TID) continues its nationwide search for the country's brightest young footballers as the final phase of the 2026 Elite Academy Schools selection reaches the Eastern and Volta Regions on Thursday, July 30. The exercise forms part of the GFA's long-term commitment to discovering, nurturing and developing talented young players while promoting the importance of combining football with quality education. The final selection phase will bring together a pool of talented players who excelled during the first and second stages of the nationwide scouting programme. The Ho Stadium has been selected to host this assessment, offering an ideal environment for the final evaluations as the GFA continues to strengthen its player development pathway.
