Gary Evans, 38, of no fixed abode, appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court on July 22 charged with two counts of assault by beating. The charges relate to incidents that were alleged to have taken place in Pencader on January 20. Evans also faces a charge of interfering with a motor vehicle on the same date.
