Repairs are now underway on Church Close, where two sinkholes developed in the pavement close to several homes, prompting safety concerns among residents and repeated calls for action. In a post on Facebook, Cllr Staples-Jones said: "Pleased to see work beginning on Church Close. The sinkholes appeared outside properties on Church Close, Ramsbottom. The sinkholes are not believed to be an entirely new problem for Church Close.
