Dearden Wood Campsite, on Michael Wife Lane in Edenfield, Ramsbottom, will cease operating as a public campsite on August 31, 2026, after its landlord gave notice that its licence will be terminated. Set within 10 acres of woodland, Dearden Wood has built a loyal following since opening to the public in 2019. In her statement, Ms Law reflected on the personal significance of the campsite, saying: "Dearden Wood isn't just a business to me. Reflecting on the site's legacy, she said many people referred to Dearden Wood as "their happy place". The Dearden Wood Campsite team has also invited customers to attend a final gathering at the site on Sunday, August 30.
