Rivian reported Q2 revenue of $1.66 billion vs. $1.52 billion, per Bloomberg consensus, up 27% from a year ago. Rivian posted an adjusted loss per share of $0.63 vs. $0.76 estimated and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $379 million vs. $548 million expected, narrower than the $667 million loss from last year. And even though the top-line R2 launch edition is the only trim available, Rivian is happy with how sales conversion is going. A Rivian R2 electric SUV is displayed at the company's Venice Hub space in Los Angeles on June 17, 2026. Rivian said quarter-over-quarter growth came from its EDV commercial vans and R1 line, along with the first deliveries of the R2.
