Picture: SuppliedSpeaking with NewsWire, National Australia Bank chief economist Sally Auld said there was a small win in Wednesday's inflation figures.
"There is probably not a smoking gun in the data for the RBA in terms of their August meeting," Ms Auld said.
While there was improvement in the headline inflation rate, economists were split about the stickier trimmed mean inflation rate, which remained at 3.6 per cent.
