The new owners of the Armagh City Hotel have announced plans for a new £600,000 cocktail bar inspired by the city’s heritage in astronomy, timekeeping and navigation. The Meridian is the latest stage in the McKeever Hotel Group’s revamp of the Co Armagh venue since acquiring it last year for £8.35 million. The family owned hospitality firm, which owns seven hotels across Ulster, announced a £4m investment plan across the Armagh City Hotel earlier this year in a bid to restore its four-star status.
