Derry City manager Tiernan Lynch believes that his side can overcome the 1-0 deficit against HNK Rijeka in the second leg of their UEFA Conference League tie.
Lynch feels his side, who trail 1-0 from the first leg, just need to stick to their game plan and is confident that they can produce the goods when it matters.
“For us this tie is very much alive,” insisted Lynch.
“Sometimes it just takes a little bit of time for that to happen.
“Our aim is to try and take away their time on the ball, take away their space and have a little bit more confidence in what we’re doing, then I don’t think we’ve a huge amount to fear.
